Outline Itinerary for Bhote Koshi River Rafting
Day 01: Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Lomosangu about 3 hour drive with beautiful typical village and mountain road then af, white water rafting and camp at Lomosangu Dam.
Day 02: Makeup call with tea, coffee and eat breakfast at 9:00am then Rafting to Dolalghat4 hour rafting and drive back to Kathmandu about 2/3 hour. It will depend on the traffic jam on the way.

Day 01: Drive to Lomosangu, white water rafting and camp at Lomosangu Dam.
We will drive to Lomosangu from Kathmandu, rafting starting point. Upon arrival we will have lunch and after that Rafting leader give speech on safety tips. We will raft along the lower section of Bhote Khosi with 3-4 grade rapids. Setup camp on the beach of river for overnight stay.
Day 02: Rafting to Dolalghat and drive back to Kathmadnu.
Having a breakfast in morning we continue rafting to the most challenging rapids having 5+ grade. Some of most dazzling rapids during this rafting are ‘The Great Wall’, ‘Liquid Bliss’, ‘Fake Right Go Left’ and ‘My God, What To Do?’. The trip ends with a bang on a long series of drops known as ‘Dazed and Confused.

Kayaking
This is a great river for any kayaker. Great for expericed kayakers wanting to take it easy but also for beiginngers or intermediates wanting to improve upon their skills. There is the option to kayak the easier days and then jump in the raft when the rapids get alittle too intense! With our kayaking guides showing you the way, this is a great high volume river to work on your skills.
What we provide
Along with our high quality self-bailing rafts, we provide helmets, plastic paddles, wetsuits, lifejackets, and first aid kit. We provide plentiful, healthy and hygienically prepared food and drinks. Tents and sleeping mats are also provided. Sleeping bags can be supplied upon request. All our equipment is of the highest quality, clean and well maintained.
What to bring
Please bring with you shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block and your camera. A flashlight is also useful.
What you need to tell us
Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip. Don’t forget to request vegetarian meals if required.
Safety
Osho World Adventure takes the safety of its clients very seriously. All our guides are licensed, with many years of experience on the rivers of Nepal and other European countries. All are trained in CPR, First Aid and advanced river rescue techniques.

Is rafting in Nepal dangerous?
Rafting is for fun, excitement, wilderness and adventure. There is risk involves with any adventurous activities. Our guides are well trained to overcome risks in rafting. The most common injury is sunburn, and most other injuries occur on land, especially getting into and out of the boats.
I don’t know swimming. Can I still go rafting?
Every rafter (beginner or experienced) are necessarily wears a coast guard approved buoyancy vest. This will keep you afloat in the event that you find yourself in the river. Many non-swimmers enjoy white water rafting, however it is advisable not to go rafting above IV+ grade river. One things there will be one man single rescue Kayak. This safety kayak always front of us if some body fall down from water this Kayaks man (Kayaker) immediately rescue to the fallen people. This rescue Kayaker always waits at the ends of the risk place like Rapids.
How fit should I be to go rafting? Is it strenuous?
You must be fit and healthy for rafting as many boats on rafting need paddling which will be in your hand. Our guides will instruct you on paddling technique. Oar boats, where you ride along as a passenger, are also available on many rivers. If you’re in doubt about your ability to go rafting, or your fitness, check with your doctor before you go.
What should I wear on the river?
It is depend on the time, water temperature and weather condition. We recommend you dress for the water temperature, rather than the air temperature, since you’ll be getting wet. Don’t wear cotton. It will just make you colder. Please check equipments list from tab.
I’ve never been before. Which trips are best for me?
If you are first time rafter, then it is advisable to start rafting with II or III grade, however you can also choose for IV grade. Guides will make sure you are trained in safety and paddle techniques. For class V Rivers, you must have prior class IV experience.
What are my chances of falling out of the boat? What should I do if I do?
Many people love falling from boat, it’s exciting. But with our guide and their instruction, yo are fully safe from falling out of the boat. If you fall out of the boat which is very rare, then there is always safety kits available with our guides.
Can I bring my camera or video camera?
It is only recommend to bring disposable waterproof cameras, which work just fine. The quality of the pictures is pretty good, and if you lose it, it’s not the end of the world. They are well suited to rafting. Some river trips have professional photographers, whose photos you can view and order after the trip.
Should I tip my guide?
Tipping is not expected, but is certainly appreciated by the guides, who work hard to make sure you have a fun, yet safe trip. If you feel your guide has done a good job, keeping you entertained, and sharing the wonderful river environment with you, then feels free to show your appreciation.
